Ata Kak Daa Nyinaa

From his last.fm bio:

A Ghanaian highlife singer gone horribly right, Ata Kak is a visionary. He spits serious rhymes, waxes romantic, and issues lo-fi digital quick-shrieks.

Home-made funky yet spooky, like a warped Prince protege from Africa by way of 1986 Chicago.

I love everything about this - the song, the New Dance Show footage, this guy’s self-description. Check his album for more - I dare you to listen and not dance a little in your chair.

About

transformative Looks like a pump, feels like a wingtip.

Half prance and half swagger, never missing a step.
Profane but I (almost) always mean well.

Hey, I'm Ju. How you doin'? I think and feel too much for my own good. This is where I come to blurt out all that stuff wandering around my brain, for posterity and amusement.

PGP: alien she. (The "alien" is silent, at least most of the time.) "They" also works, and is appreciated.

Did I write something that pissed you off and hurt your feelings? If so, read this before blowing up my ask box.
