from 1-2-3 Punch: How Misogyny Hurts Queer Communities-

My point is that the fact that there’s someone who has it worse doesn’t mean someone else’s problems with intolerance or invisibility don’t matter.

hey, did you miss the entire 2nd paragraph where the author says “I understand that queer communities often fail to recognize/legitimate Femme as a non-heteronormative identity. I understand that being made to feel invisible among a community of people of whom you identify with feels shitty. I understand that this form of exclusion is invalidating and divisive. Without a doubt, these things are problematic and should be confronted.”
Or did you choose to ignore it because how dare someone acknowledge that people marginalized on one axis still have the capability of being oppressive on another?

I found it was kinda drowned out by the whole ‘But my problems are worse, so STFU’ bit.

luckily for the world, women of colour will never stop calling out racism even when it comes from their supposed “allies”

Good for them, so they should, but what racism exactly is the original post calling out?

i don’t mean this to be rude but try reading the last sentence on the image again

About

transformative Looks like a pump, feels like a wingtip.

Half prance and half swagger, never missing a step.
Profane but I (almost) always mean well.

Hey, I'm Ju. How you doin'? I think and feel too much for my own good. This is where I come to blurt out all that stuff wandering around my brain, for posterity and amusement.

PGP: alien she. (The "alien" is silent, at least most of the time.) "They" also works, and is appreciated.

Did I write something that pissed you off and hurt your feelings? If so, read this before blowing up my ask box.
