Jumaa is a worldwide fellowship of Christians that meet weekly to Intercede in prayer on behalf of Muslims and the Islamic World. Jumaa prayer groups meet faithfully every week on Friday, the Islamic day of prayer. It is our hope that through the continued prayers of Christians, God will reveal Himself to the more than 1 billion Muslims who are lost and desperately seeking answers.

So this is a social club for Christians with such wack priorities that they’re campaigning not about putting their faith to works that actually help other human beings (say, working at domestic violence shelters, or raising money for school supplies for kids who need and can’t afford them, or the like), but about praying for people who believe in the same god (just practicing their faith differently) to stop being different from them. While co-opting an Arabic word for prayer.
Basically, it’s a chapter of the Giant Fucking Jerkwad Society, with a fancy website.
Ew. Just, ew.

Why, Christians? Why? Don’t we have better things, more important things to be praying about corporately? How about we...
